Can I use Loop for free?

Yes, sign up for the Express plan and get 14-days of free use with no obligation. If you decide it’s not for you and cancel before then, your credit card will not be charged and you account will be disabled.

How does the trial work?

A credit card is required to start a trial, only after your trial is over your credit card will be charged.

Who are Team Members?

Team Members are users who have login credentials to your Loop Inbox.

What is a Location?

A location represents a place in your customer journey. Each location has its own set of channels and appears separately in reports.

What is a Channel?

A channel is how you engage your customers. Loop is ‘omni-channel’ (meaning lots of channels and many of each). Loop has traditional channels (text messaging, email), messaging app channels (Facebook Messenger, Twitter Direct Message and many, many more), self-service channels (like our Pulse kiosks), embeddable channels (such as Loop Messenger, Loop Pulse, Loop Pulse Check) and dispay channels (such as our Pulse Scoreboard).

What counts as a message?

For the Loop Express plan, only sent or received text messages (SMS, MMS) and emails count as messages. For enterprise plans, see the [Benbria Messaging Credit and Fair Use Policy](https://support.benbria.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004222853-Benbria-Messaging-Credit-Fair-Use-Policy) for detail.

What happens if I hit the 'messages per month' limit?

We charge for additional messages and will contact you directly.

How can I upgrade my plan?

Check the Accounts page for upgrade options. If you are looking to do more than what our self-service plans allow, contact us!

What are my payment options?

You can pay using credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express). For the enterprise plan, we can invoice you annually and you can pay by cheque or bank-transfer.

Are volume discounts available?

Yes. We offer customized pricing for larger businesses and enterprises.

Can you extend our trial?

If you haven’t had time to use the product something can be arranged. Based on our experience 14-days is enough time to evaluate the product if you start using it shortly after signup. In the future you will be able to downgrade and upgrade your plan anytime should your needs change.

Do you have promo codes?

No, our online pricing is competitive and we ensure that all of our online customers are paying the same price to be fair. Annual billing options will be provided in the future along with a 20% discount similar to other tools.

Where can I learn more about how to use Loop?

The best way to find out if Loop is right for your business is to try it out. Our Express plan gives you access to the Inbox and core features. Also, feel free to browse the Knowledge Base to learn more.

How do I reply to customers using Loop?

Loop is a software platform for handling conversations, survey responses and requests from your customers across any channel. You can respond to conversations or requests through the Loop Inbox or through your own product using integrations with our API and/or SDK.

What is a conversation?

A conversation is any number of sent or received messages between a contact (your customer) using a channel of their choice and a team member (you or a colleage) using the Loop Inbox. Please see Benbria’s Benbria Messaging Credit & Fair Use Policy for information on text messaging specifically.

What is a response?

A response is a set of answers submitted by a contact to survey questions you have asked on a Pulse experience. With Loop you can configure many unique surveys (say, for different places in your customer journey) that feed results into universal categories for reporting and analysis. Metric categories like quality, speed, cleanliness, service, value and experience are common. With Pulse you can collect comments, information (like the name of an employee who has done an excellent job or a customer’s loyalty rewards number), contact information and more. Using Loop’s rule engine, a simple response can start a conversation with a customer to thank or start service recovery.

What is a request?

A request is an order for service placed by a contact (your customer) that is tracked to completion. Requests are tracked as first opened, then acknowledged, then fulfilled and Loop keeps everyone informed (including the customer). Requests are well-structured and are created by a customer using the OnDemand menu features of the Loop Messenger Channel. You define the menu using the OnDemand framework. Integrations to ticketing platforms like HotSOS, HotelMGR, KNOW Service and more are available.

I'm not seeing certain features?

When in doubt, ask us! Features are available depending on your plan. In the Express plan, some features are not available as self-service and require assistance from support.

Can you describe your platform architecture?

The platform is built using the most reliable tools and vendors on the market: Node.js, mongoDB, Android (java), iOS (Swift) and hosted on leading cloud platforms with 24×7 monitoring.

How secure is Loop?

Very secure! We take data protection and privacy seriously. Take a look at our [Loop Security Guide](https://support.benbria.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003476153-Loop-Security-Guide) for information about security by design and our [Privacy Policy](https://support.benbria.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004227713-Privacy-Policy) for how we treat data.

What are the API and SDK?

Our API (“Application Programming Interface”) allows your business systems or apps to interact with Loop automatically. The SDK (“Software Development Kit”) is a collection of code-level resources for your developers that are easily copy-pasted into your websites and apps to turn on Loop experiences and features.
