Ottawa Citizen: Carleton, Mitel to unveil campus-safety upgrade
"Benbria, another Ottawa company backed by Mitel chairman Terry Matthews, produces a product called BlazeCast, which can use the Mitel voice-over-Internet-protocol platform, or VoIP, to deliver the instant mass warnings of danger through overhead paging, desktop alerts, e-mail, phone and text messaging.
The BlazeCast system is already in use at Loretto College, a residence for women at the University of Toronto, and Conestoga College, a polytechnic institute in the Waterloo-Kitchener area."
